Ty made my mother in law a granny square shrug, putting this birder on it....needed a refresher. I love this border. Ty again

I’ve used a ribbed edging on several of my blankets, and I think its one of my favorites. It holds up well and I love the way it looks. Great tutorial!!

Hi Sarah- Im still working on your Boardwalk blanket- love that & this! TY for sharing this edging- as I sometimes don't know what to use as a border. Once again you have laid it out nicely and easy to achieve,

Thank you for this tutorial. I needed a substantial border for the Stephen West Painted Bricks blanket and this ribbed edging is a perfect choice.

Hi Sarah! This will be my choice of border for a blanket I’m working on now. I do have a question. Can I do a second and maybe even third round of posting stitches? If, so do I just do what you showed in the corners or is it different for repeat rows? Hope you’re having a cozy, delightful day. Thanks from Los Angeles.❤️

Do you need to do a row of single crochet around the piece first?

I did just to make it easier

Can we do this edging in a round placemat?

When you do the second row of the ribbing, do you do the opposite of what you did in row 1? Ex. If row 1 was a FPDC, row 2 would be a BPDC.
