When you have time, it might be worthwhile to create a cardboard tube to measure hose airflow. The reason is that the vane would be able to receive a full diameter of flow gently rather than emerging abruptly from the Kirby adapter.

Something I have been wanting to see is the percentage and ratio of airflow (at the cleaner head) lost on the Tandem Air vac with both motors engaged vs a traditional clean air vacuum when vacuuming dust and sand. Basically, the point to my question: Is/would the tandem vac be able to maintain a higher percentage of airflow after vacuuming up just as much material as a clean air vacuum…. Or would the airflow fade at the same rate considering that the filter bag is still getting clogged with dust?

@@brentcho1275 Hey Brent! I've run into a few issues with my Diamond Edition since I haven't restored it since I got it awhile ago. It needs a new fan and both bearings need to be redone. I have the parts on the way and I will definitely post a video of tests on it as soon as I'm able to refurb it!

Alright! So you’ve ordered a new fan and two new bearings already? If you didn’t then that’s fine but if you did then take your best time to refurbish so that we can all see the airflow on it’s best condition! 😄

@@brentcho1275 Yes, as I said I have them ordered. I’m guessing it’ll be similar to what VacLab’s got when he tested it, but we’ll have to see.

I do like the concept of the Tacony Tandem Air vacuums, since clean air vacuums provides better suction for using tools, but direct air provides better carpet cleaning performance. So I like Tacony's engineering for combining the 2, but I believe some of it's design still fell short in some areas, as shown by these airflow and suction numbers, but it's not absolutely terrible though.
