Thank you so much for this vid.Just today I got a Riccar that is very much like yours. All the nobs are the same except the light switch. I don't know any thing about sewing but thanks to you at least I know how my Riccar works. I've needed a sewing machine for a long time. I have a few bush craft projects I'd like to try out. When you say light thick fabric. Do I put from 3 down, or from 4 up for light cotton I always get confused. Like when I try thin cotton, the machine start messing up waiving, bunching up, should I lower than 4, putting 3 or 2. How about when beneath the fabric the seam looks ugly, built up. Is tension problem on the bobin, dirty machine, lack of oil, or wrong tension on the tension dial button where you showing

I’m having a problem that I’m hoping you could help me with. I have a riccar 608 and when I plug in the power directly it works fine but when I plug it through the foot pedal it still runs at full power. The pedal doesn’t control it at all.

Wow, that camera angle is horrible - it should have been pointing over your shoulder to get the same view as someone sitting in FRONT of it. Too far away to see any details!
