Very passionate personality. Big and dangerous in the aerial ball. Plays for the team as a unit. Solid in the backline and a big presence on the pitch but needs a little bit of pace, composure and defensive awareness to his game. Got beaten once in each game he's played but never twice so yh he's a good learner. He's a joy to watch when he's in the progressive phase of the game. I love how he pop out and show niqqas in his interceptions ☠️so clean. He's a very skillful player too and his line breaking pass are insane. He is just 22 he's got a lot of world-class potentials. Gvardiol was shit in the first half of last season and came clutch in the second half of the season. Big Cala is going to be worth 150M soon

He gets spun too easily by tricky wingers. Needs to improve on his initial defensive position and recovery. But he loves defending as much as moving forward and he's young so there's time for him to improve himself and having Martinelli that helps him with the defensive work will just be better. He has aura, ngl but needs to improve to continue having it, before wingers get the better of him like how Zinny was in his second season.

You are right with your observation.. I saw something like that against South Hampton. The winger got a better of him and he couldn't body shadow the Guy.. he shouldn't allow that again

@BlackFundz02 it's his defensive position and posture. He gets too close to the wingers on the get go. All of the defenders went through that, Saliba, Gabriel, even White and Kiwior. But all of them learned fast and are now defensively sound. Cala needs to learn this since he has an outstanding tackling ability.

@banuhaashim9539 depends on his trajectory. Calafiori is a swashbuckling, marauding fullback that is in the mould of Ashley Cole or dare I say, Cafu. The good thing about Cala is that he is an intelligent footballer, albeit still learning about the league and it's pace. He does need to time his runs or ensure he doesn't get too close to the attacker and get spun because that's a deadly cross on the wings or a shot in the middle.
