@Thryn1 as far as i know, all information about the symbology is stored in the mxd-file when you save your project. at the moment i am not sure whether it is possible to save it directly to the shape file!

@PDopey you should try to search for " us geology symbols arcmap " (without quotes) it can not be done automatically!!!

sorry but i didn't get it as i cannot find a good translation for reentrant. you probably created a polygon and it is not shown. sometimes you can adjust visibility to check: show all entries or show just selected. did your attribute table show the polygon? if so: mark the entry in the attribute table and zoom to it (use ricght klick)...

you cannot do this! you can do it with GeoJSON but I've never worked with GeoJSON in ArcMAP

Riccardo sir i have three DEMs of our country which are spot hieght dem,SRTM dem and ASTER dem.srtm has 90m resolution and aster has 30m resolution. my supervisor told me to delineate watershed using this three dems seperately and also using merged dems.sir what is the main differences of three DEMs above i mentioned and how to merge these three dems and what is the suitable Dem to delineate watershed?(spot hieght,SRTM,ASTER,or merge DEM)
