I just saw Ric's Facebook post that was announced from his family that he passed away. I started to watch Ric's KZbin channel in 2014 to learn more about old school bodybuilding and dieting. I will forever be grateful for the knowledge that he taught me (us). He was a legend and he will be missed. RIP Ric Drasin. Thank you for all you've done. You lived an amazing life and I will miss your voice and your legendary interviews and insights. I will keep watching your channel for inspiration when I'm down and unmotivated. We're going to miss you. Rest in peace Legend.

Over the past 10 years I’ve been a fan of BB. However, I only really followed 5 or so KZbin personalities. Piana, lobeliner, Palumbo, and Little bit of Bostin Lloyd. Somehow Ric became a regular and one of the only BB channels I watched regularly. I’ll miss him and the channel a lot. He has taught me a lot over the last 10 years. I hope his son will take over his channel for a while and give us some stories of his dad. He had big family/audience and it would mean a lot. RIP Ric. Incredible life.

Ric looks so healthy and full of life in this video. No idea how can someone go in for a knee surgery and minor kidney issues and weeks later not make it?! His son said in 08/17 video update that he was doing great and doctors were doing great job as well. Rick is looking down on us from a better place. Will keep his family in my prayers.

Man so many gone now, Ric, Boston, Rich, Jerry, There was 5 i looked up to when i was training (Gary Strydom was 5th) in 2011-12-13, these guys were my idols (Boston was very controversial i get that) i decided to calm down and stop and now only 10 years later 4 of my 5 are gone at a early age, I dont know what to take from this info as im not saying this or that was the reason but its left me very concerned that is for sure. R.I.P ric i wanted to wait a few years before i commented like this as people might take my thoughts the wrong way and start arguments. R.I.P to all the ones gone too soon 😥
