Visited the family rice fields in Tombor, Binmaley, Pangasinan, Philippines, although there was no rice to harvest the time we went there.
My apologies for chanting "tabi tabi po" throughout the video, LOL.
"Tabi tabi po" translated from Tagalog to English means "excuse me", "may I pass", or "just passing through". It is a superstition (and yes, I am superstitious), and these words are said to the unseen spirits that live in the trees, grass or bushland. By not saying these words passing through such areas, spirits may cast illness, fever, rash, etc., if they aren't acknowledged or given respect.
