Sorry, but this isn't helpful. After 30 seconds in the microwave, rice paper starts puffing. It changes its texture. Please take a look at this problem. I needed to instant dry my sails and so I used your trick but it failed.

Sorry for that but may be you missed something because mine is perfect as you can see Please rest this for 5/10 mints after removing from water then you go with microwave its come out perfect
