Emmanuel College is announcing a capital appeal for its anticipated Edmund Rice Centre with a good old-fashioned basketball match - the Rice Rally.
The Rice Rally on February 23 is a day for the College and broader community to come together in support of the new $16 million dollar learning facility.
The Edmund Rice Centre is set to accommodate up to 250 Year 9 students, designed to cater to the unique requirements of the 9@RICE program. Commencing construction in 2023, it is projected to be ready for occupation at the start of the 2025 school year.
The community is invited to attend Emmanuel College to watch the basketball showdown for a good cause, with All Stars Warrnambool local legends up against Emmanuel College students. 100% of ticket proceeds will be donated to the Edmund Rice Centre.
The community will have the opportunity to participate in activities, see student project displays, and see Inspiring Alumni co-hosts Jonathan Brown (Class of 1999), Gorgi Coghlan (Class of 1993) and host Rookie take to the airwaves on Coast FM, courtesy of major sponsor ACE Radio.
The Rice Rally would not be possible without the support of its major sponsors Ace Radio, Watson Media and Star Printing.
