A saying that goes around among ARMYs in the fandom is: It doesn't matter when you discover BTS. You find BTS when you need them the most in life. If I am share my experience, I'm an ARMY since early 2016. More than anything at some points in my life, they were the reason for my first/only smile of the day. They made me feel someone understood, when I felt the loneliest. And when I was spiralling down to a really dark place in my life, their message and Love Yourself campaign gave me the courage to finally seek help. And that step made a huge change in my life. The hardest for me to watch is when bts started a small and people keep hating on them. I remember everytime namjoon reading some korean and english comment he translated negative comments to positive one to his members just to make sure that he's only one getting the hate, yes indeed best leader but now he's a confident man and I love him for that. Now that they are successful the only thing that will never change is his love for his members and for armys.

Kááy ARMY Same here. BTS made me face my own self; my ego, my persona. I accepted them all. I cried to myself a lot. I face bravely all my faults and bad thoughts. The result was amazed me, I choose to front directly to the person whom hurt my feeling esp in my family. Once I directly stated how my thought was and how I felt. Everyone was shock and didn’t expect since I’m not a person whom talked about my feeling to my family members. The communication to myself turn to heal me and make me brave to talk to others. I feel so light and relieve. Thanks to BTS to give this kind of change to my life. I feel like I was born again.

I love bts for many things but they came to me at the worst moment of my life, my son was diagnosed with the syndrome of guillan barre, was in the hospital day and night, and there by accident Watch a video from bts they caught my attention, and watched many videos of them from their funny moments and made me laugh, the lyrics of their songs touched my heart, they made my days in the hospital Happy even from the situation I was living with my baby So I love bts and I will love them forever💜

This is why we love BTS so much and ARMYS will do anything to stand for them. Some people may think, we love or going crazy with them because of their looks but no. BTS is our live savers. We can relate to them in every aspects in life and they made songs with beautiful and moving lyrics to comfort us. They are inspirations and motivators that we will make it if we persevere and work hard. I've been in this fandom for 4 years now. I'm independent since 17, working student, and came from a broken family. I got through so much hardships but having BTS in my own life is like the most wonderful thing happened to me. They gave me so many reasons to keep going, have a dream and especially love myself. So many ARMYs can relate to me. There are so many reactors but they are just going along with the hype. But you guys.. you are actually trying to understand the full story. I swear I'm so touched💜 The struggle has been real since the day one. And not only to them but to us too. People call us crazy who are just obsessed. They don't know anything that why we care about them, why we are so protective when it comes to them. The answer is simple, bts has given their all to us. Listen to any of their speech and army is the first thing they mention. Watch any of their interview.. Never will you see them giving credit to themselves but to us (though they should give a major credit to their hard work). Check out their twitter and everything there is dedicated to us. You know when you feel as if there is some void in you, when you need that affection, that love.. well they fill that void within us. They have saved so many drowning souls (including mine). So yes, I love them and will always do because they genuinely love us back and care for us, I will protect them because they have protected us. When there was nobody, bts was there to heal me (yeah talking from personal experience) And those who can't understand this, can simply get lost. Because the bond that bts and army share is eternal. You know how struggling and desperate they were when they started debut. It’s kind of chaos for them when the performances were filled up on each program show, they couldn’t get into the line or got cut off since they came from a very small company which got treated like minority. How We;Army, has grown up with them like passed all those struggling and bad time together. It’s like profound of emotion between BTS and Army. I’m not a person whom likes anything in trend or in frame but I’m their fan since they are not this big. I would say I’m not only proud of BTS but to be in Army community as well. I recently got a love yourself tattoo, my religious family doesn’t agree with it but I wanted to get something that reminded me of how bts saved my life. They really healed me with their music. I've struggled alot these past few years since I thought of myself as a mistake. A mistake that no one wanted to commit haha. I sometimes cry at night just to lessen the pain inside me to wake up again with a smile. I am just super blessed that I met them. They saved me. They are literally my heroes. The people around me pressures me especially when it comes to school or studies. But BTS just tells me to enjoy and not to worry anything. I just loves those dorks. I LOVE THEM! Seriously BTS helped a lot of people in a lot of ways. For me, i love them for their musics and arts. They did helped me during my difficult days and i see it firsthand how it help other people too. You see, I’m a doctor in emergency department and one day I have a teenager with suicidal attempt who refused to talk to anyone or listen to anyone. I sat down with her and tried to talk to her using some of the BTS Love Myself lyrics and she started crying and talk to me. And at that time I realised words hold so much power. Even better than medications. I thank BTS for giving us such beautiful lyrics and music.

Honestly I cry everytime I watch that video, it's so important for people to really understand the reason for BTS's success and international popularity. As you guys said, it's easy to write them off as just some other boyband or entertainment for young girls but they just aren't. They're so much more than that, and so much more than lots of other artists in the industry. That song, "Epiphany" I was crying and singing it at the concert! This song really means a lot to me and it's just my anthem and the song I listen to when I need to feel better, or when I feel insecure. I honestly could not stop crying towards the end of the concert especially and the last song. Their boys that really helped me keep going and pulled me out of that depression stage I was in. I admit at first I was also apprehensive with kpop in general but one day I’ve seen one of BTS music video and somehow it got me curious to know more about them because even if I didn’t understand their language I was able to feel the message they wanted to convey in their music and somehow it helped me get through my darkest moments... I felt empowered and optimistic in life whenever I hear their music, it gives me courage to face the future. I found BTS in 2015 literally when I hit rock bottom. I didn't see the point of life and just didn't wanna go on anymore. I had problems in school, at home and was just not understood by anyone. It makes me tear up every single time I see these videos cuz its just....... how far the boys have come. I have just been in the fandom since like 8 months or so and I just know half of the things that elder ARMYs know and have went through. And we all are dead sure that the boys went through even more than they let out. They never show that part of themselves where they are struggling, they always want to show the best side of themselves. I wish one day I could go to their concert as well. It's bad because even if they come to India now, I can't go because my parents are pretty strict and the venue would be far. I'd still need a bit more freedom to go to their concert in India itself. Hope one day I can go there 😔😔🤞. BTS love the stage as much as ARMYs love their concerts. They are always waiting for the tours so they can meet us and performe in front of us. If you guys are free then I hope you'd check out the ARMY Young Forever Project at Wembley Stadium. You'll find fancams of the project. It tears me up every single time. ARMY gave them a surprise.

Many people judge us for being Army. They say that we love BTS just for their looks. This is just because they don't even know what is BTS all about. We are not Army because of their looks. Of course for me now they are the most handsome men. But I want to tell all those people that we became ARMY because of their work, their music, the message that they send. People who hate them actually don't know them coz once you start to know them they will change you, your negativity will turn into positivity. They will change your perception about life and self. They are not just a boy band who sing and dance, they try to connect with people, bring them together as humans of the earth and not as Americans, Indians, Koreans, Africans etc. They inspire us to be a better human, humans who support each other rather them spreading hate. And for this first we need to love ourselves coz if we can't do that than we can do nothing for others. And to Love Ourselvesself, BTS motivates us. It's not just a fan and idol relationship..... it's very superior than that. It's a relationship of love, respect, understanding, faith, trust and friendship. BTS is my teacher, my friend, my family, my lover, my everything. And thanku you and welcome to the fam Rice Stop. You will not regret it, ever. You all are doing a great job. I am happy to be a member of this Rice fam too.💜🍚

I recently stumbled upon your BTS reaction videos and I have to say I'm enjoying them. I'm pretty picky when it comes to BTS reactors as I only sub to one other reaction channel (most are way over the top and I just can't watch them). I only clicked the video because it said Canadians react to BTS, I was thinking yay fellow Canadians discovering BTS. So, now I'm off to watch more of your BTS reactions.
