Hi mate.. I just got mine. Just one question. What’s that red switch on the battery for? No matter which position the switch is in it makes no difference
@udatube4 жыл бұрын
It turns the power to the bike on/off. If it doesn't then the switch, or the wiring to it, is defective...

udatube Thanks mate.. dealer is sendng new battery today for it. wiring cant be wrong as its the switch inside the battery which is not working.

Hello, thank you very much. I bought the same also same colour. Now i have a problem on the back tyre and I need that to remove the rear wheel (remove the motor connector and remove the derailleur)but i don't know how they are located..i mean the motor connector and the derailleur. Can advice pls. Thanks a lot. Michele
@udatube5 жыл бұрын
Hi, you don't need to remove the derailleur in order to remove the wheel. The chain easily comes off the cassette when you have loosened the large nuts clamping the wheel axle to the frame of the bike. The motor connector is the bulge about 20cm from the axle towards the front of the bike. Make sure to remove the zip-ties holding the motor cable to the chainstay before trying to remove the wheel. Be careful with the connector, removing (and installing) it requires some force and you can easily damage the pins. And when refitting the wheel secure the motor cable back with zip-ties or it could be damaged while cycling.

Hi, I purchased one of these in July this year and after only two months use the brakes are worn out. I took the bike to a local reputable bike mechanic and he said the same as you, the brakes are totally insufficient for this bike. I asked if he could upgrade the brakes to hydraulic but he says that as they are wired in to the electrics it would be tricky. If you decide to upgrade the brakes could you do a video showing how please. It would be most helpful. Thanks.

I'll make a new video at some point of all the mods and upgrades I've done to the bike and I'll talk about the brakes as well in that video =)

Did you get new breaks?
@ontrackrailfilms16524 жыл бұрын
@@Funky420Infotainment I've got a larger rotor on the front and doing the rear next week. Going to take the stand off and fit a centre stand. Looking at fitting hydraulic brakes but not sure if disconnecting the electrics from the existing brakes will effect the whole electrics system.
@Funky420Infotainment4 жыл бұрын
@@ontrackrailfilms1652 OK, do you have the links. I want to oder and do it myself as I live in Switzerland and they charge a fortune. good idea about getting a center stand. Im planning to change the discs too, to at least 180mm (if thats all that is possible on the back, and maybe 200mm at the front. plus a better thing that holds the break pads

Hi, Just purchased on ebay one of these :) any news about your bike, reliability please?
@udatube6 жыл бұрын
So far so good, I've done about 750km on the bike and nothing has broken. I've also ridden it, mostly because I didn't have an alternative, for a long distance in pouring rain and none of the electrics or the motor showed any issues during or after. Not that I'd recommend doing it on a regular basis unless you've done some extra waterproofing =).
@dzsottoszabo49846 жыл бұрын
Thanks and Sorry for late reply, I've done about 300km no problem with bike, I've upgraded the rear brake disk to 180mm disk, also the braking become more efficient.

@@dzsottoszabo4984 Hey man, I also have this bike, done 1500km so far and really need new breaks but dont have a clue, could you help? Is 180mm the largest possible disc size in the back?
@TheBushfish3 жыл бұрын
I don't know how much you have used it but I do know that all disk brakes take a while to bed in. It's the same with new cars the brakes aren't great till you have done a few miles and shaped the 2 shoes to each disk. Perhaps you have done that already and still think there crap! Hope not though I've got one on delivery 🧐🤔🧐
