If you watched the series Jihu offered the ring to Jandi from his parents but Jandi refused it. She says that she still has Jupyo's heart and showed him the necklace that Junpyo gave her. He just hugged her and Junpyo saw them hugging then the accident happened and lost Junpyo's memories.

I agree. I didn't like the ending too. Jandi and Junpyo have been through enough and they could have at least deserved to have a good wedding surrounded by good friends like the F3. I see the mother being sorry for what she has done to Junpyo and Jandi’s family. I like this version than the Meteor Garden in 2018 but I like their ending. At least they show the main characters as husband and wife living happily and the evil mother feels sorry and changed. It was a happy ending.
