I'm starting to like Rich Brian because he is really chill and he basically made himself, I can tell he is very smart and knows right from wrong, he even asked politely if he was able to curse and was respectful to there decision. I'm surprised that he is 18 I thought he was 16 years old. His album is a decent solid album actually its just chill and cool.

People have their own way to living life. Someone who study at school or college can get a degree and making money from working. Meanwhile the entertainment industry isn't stable and someone who live with it can be easily kicked off from it if they don't have fame anymore. Living with fame is so risky. I'm not saying Brian is wrong for not going to school but you know, this thing happened to the 1:10000000 ratio of people. And Brian is that one person.

Honestly I wished Big Boy did more research on Rich Brian. Since, Rich Brian already answered about the n-word, and he never used the n-word after Dat Stick. He also interrupted Brian a decent amount, when I just wanted to hear more about Brian's story. Big fan of Big Boy's interviews, but he gotta stop interrupting people, do more research, and let the interviewee's answer/talk more.

The n-word aren't something that usually heard by the Indonesians. we just know it's a way to call a man with a dark skin tone from the internet culture. Most of the Indonesians have a dark skin, tho. So, it's easy for us to say that because it's so popular although that's a very negative word (and we don't actually know if it's bad).

The interviewer said about stabbing in the neck. Go to Indonesia, please, and repeat wat u said. Bronx or any other city in the US that have large crime rate or gang related crime is nothing, i mean nothing, compared to the bronx alike in Indonesia. Small example: when u r kidnapped today by saying what u r saying about stabbing in the neck to other people, u disappear, nobody hears from u and about u again, not even by the local authority. He is a ethnic minority that is oppressed and descriminated by the government and by the local majority, the same happens as the african american. Read about 1998 riot in Indonesia, where the minority ethnic genocide and rape happens, over 5000 death. They rape and kill the minority infront of their own family. His skin tone might be different but what his ethnic group been thru about the descrimination is the same, u can hate him by using the N word, but remember that local Indonesian are dark skin too, he said those words when he is very young age and naive, im sure he doesnt mean and understand the real N word is, because of the huge cultural differences, in Indonesia they dont understand the real N word means, for them its mainly refers to ethnicity like javanese, sundanese, and hundred plus more ethnic groups in the country. To be fair, please critizes the people thats said those word too, where there is other than african american says the N word, eventho it is a comedy movie to be fair. Say that stab in the neck too.

I think parts of the interview were lost in translation if you think Big Boy was serious about stabbing him. He would never say something like that and mean it seriously. And if he did, he would never say it on the radio for everyone to hear him threaten Brian. Also, there are parts here in the U.S. where people disappear as well for talking about stabbing in the neck. Sometimes they disappear for saying something that's not as serious as stabbing. Violence is everywhere in the world. Interviewer doesn't hate Brian for using the word. He wanted to understand Brian and the reason he used the word.

him getting harassed like that made the video a distasteful, I saw an interview where Tyler the creator was okay with people saying niggah and he also spoke about how some people are caught in their small bubble. If a white guy like 69 can say it then he can say it too and just because he's a minority here doesn't mean you make him feel like a minority like how the white people treated you.
@brifo33946 жыл бұрын
I agree

Brian himself probably understand why the n-word is hurtful to some people. He is a minority in his own country and his people often become a target of open racism (no sjw culture here) and fear mongering. I remember in his interview he tried to justify it by saying he tried to "took the power of the word" which came from his idol, tyler (im certainly sure it's a reference). He doesn't understand lol and make his second mistake. I think just because tyler and other young black guys are saying it's okay to say it , it doesn't mean other black people won't be offended.
