There's a new software update available that makes it feel more like a real drummer. The new features are: 1. The BeatBuddy will start playing as loud as it can when it detects you're trying to tune. 2. When you turn it on you have to wait from 10 to 60mins to simulate a drummer being late for practice. 3. You have to select tracks multiple times to simulate a drummer forgetting what it was playing. 4. It replaces beats with hand claps to simulate a drummer turning up without any drumsticks.

Bought mine about a year ago. Hands down best thing for my playing as a beginner. It's almost always on and it's starting to pay dividends, as I'm slowly developing an internal sense of time that I never had before.

I love my BeatBuddy!!! Had it for over 3 years now!!! Also for the “fills” you don’t need to hit it on the 4… you can hit it on the 2 or 3 and it will time up for a perfectly timed fill. Also, I’ve found that trying to hit the pedal on the 4 for a fill, if not timed well, can bring an awkward sounding fill. Love your channel man! I’ve learned a lot from you.

I really think I like your teaching style. I’m impressed with the demonstration of the drum machine. I just bought on the lease 16 and so I’m wanting to learn how to incorporate that I’m going to be listening to you to see how I can do that again I am blind and so it is a challenge, but you seem to be very. I seem to connect with you and so please keep doing what you’re doing. I to contact you further to see if I can get 1 oh1 instruction or I think you’re right are a good instructor.

Nice pedal, I don't really need it, because most (if not more) features are available in my RC500 looper - it has most of this functionality in it's rhythm options, and it's a 2 track looper, so I can preload any beat on one.

Thank you for posting this! A few years ago I thought about getting one of these but the reviews that I found on KZbin seemed pretty convoluted so I dismissed it. Your simple explanation has me considering it again. Question: are you connecting it to the front of your amp or through the fx loop?

Have had a BB for a couple of years now, it’s sitting on the desk as I type now. Also have the Aeros Looper, but since life has been hectic for the last 6 months, haven’t used either one lately. Thanks, Rick for the heads up to get back in the saddle. Am also trying to improve my Bass skills in my free time. End result, I hope will be to lay down a rhythm track on my TASCAM to record songwriting projects.🙃🤹🎼🎶🎸

HAHAHAHHAAA!!! "....we all hate drummers!" Too funny! Fun little unit for folks who don't feel like programming a drum machine. Lets one focus on their playing instead of trying to think for those *ahem* drummers as well. Nothing beats playing with other people, even, and especially GOOD drummers! Why does there seem to be such a shortage of good drummers these days?
@alanthomas87062 жыл бұрын
Well $450 / $379 on sale direct from Singular Sound. Way out of my league for a pedal. No wonder you never mentioned the price. As for first time out reviewing well you sound very polished to me. To me a review should have at least one negative comment, find a flaw. In this case the flaw is $450 price tag.

Unfortunately I’ve owned 3 of them and they don’t last long at all… mine stayed in my recording studio and never moved.. the first one just died and wouldn’t come back on… they replaced it no charge… however they wouldn’t replace the second one unless I paid half the cost of a new one… so I did… now the third time they wanted me to pay for a new one at full price… I didn’t buy another one… mine only lasted about a year and some change… when they go out they just go out and won’t come back on , and according to them at BeatBuddy you have to buy another one sux because I was just getting use to it. Then boom maybe I just got 3 bad ones ha.
