Love you and your show. Loved celebrating Michigan's Championship right along with you. Raised my 25 year old son to be a Wolverine fan. Now that both Brady and Belichick are gone I'll root for your Jets to get "one" 🏆. JJ unfortunately is not a good enough qb and I just don't see a huge upside. Especially competing against the who's who of AFC qb talent. Jets definitely need to draft somebody to sit and learn behind Rodgers to take over the reigns when he retires. I think Rodgers has two good years left but the Jets need like four new offensive lineman and a quality #2 & 3 receiver. If they don’t get that he won't be standing at the end of the season. I can hate a team and a player but root for a "friend" to be able to enjoy even a sliver of my lifetime happiness of Championships. Like I said grew up in the Bay Area so lifetime 49ers, SF Giants and Golden State Warriors fan. And because of family grew up a Patriots and Boston Red Sox fan. I'm 53, so the amount of Championship celebrating I've gotten to do is literally obscene. Lol... Spinkle all those Championships with the extra Brady Bucs TD and I'm starting to feel guilty 🤷♂️😂🤣

Really don't want Pats to take Daniels over Harrison Jr. Sure you need a qb but if you get Harrison Jr the amount of qbs that can effectively run your offense dramatically goes up. I honestly think that if Mac Jones was in Miami or San Francisco he's probably not viewed as a bust. Big believer in the nurture over nature argument for qbs. If you don't have a good supporting cast the qb will often fail even if he had the talent.
@ShaolinIsland11 ай бұрын
I agree here to a point. I think you take MHJ at 3 and take your chances in FA with a QB. Some vet who can lead the offense, limit mistakes, but most importantly - make the offense flow better than last year. Cousins would be great but I'm sure he wants to play for a contender. Bridgewater, Tannehill, or Minshew would be good. Even Brissett has shown flashes and has worked in NE before. Then take your QB next draft
@SlyScribeV11 ай бұрын
Exactly. Whether it's QB or WR we need premium talent in at least one of those positions and MHJ is a lot more special than Daniels. I'd prefer we try to get Drake Maye but if not then we should aim for MHJ and possibly another receiver or a tackle or even a QB in the second.
