@@djrom66 exactly what I'm talking about. No, for showing resilience considering Seahawks are playing with an entire 2nd and 3rd string Oline and still managed to create a blowout through defensive and offensive plays. People act like winning in this league is easy. The players themselves will tell you it's not. There's a reason no team has ever went lossless.

That was one of the best coming out parties for a rookie DB I can think of. Witherspoon stepped up huge last night. Just imagine if Adams can finally shake whatever dark magic has been plaguing his health. That secondary is going to be vicious. Also I feel like Seattle has one of the better backup QB situations. I was not remotely nervous about Lock coming in last night and feel he would have done just fine if Smith couldn't have come out for the second half. Lock just seems happy, comfortable in the system and ready to have a good time if called upon.

I would like to point out that Devin Witherspoon was playing the nickel corner position, something he only just picked up this summer. They never played him in the slot when he was at Illinois. We have yet to really see him cover outside routes along the sidelines throughout the game, but moving him to play nickel has given them a lot more flexibility to their secondary, freeing up the safeties to pitch in on pass coverage. I'm really hoping (probably in vain) that the concussion Jamal Adams had will be the last injury holding him out from playing this season, because having both him and Witherspoon crashing down on the QB on any given play would be incredible to watch.

In 13 years of selecting draft picks for Seattle, John has selected over a 100 pics. There were very few Tyler Lockett's, Russell Wilson's or D K Metcalfs. During that four week stretch of hard teams, the bright spot is that SF will be coming to Seattle on short rest (for both teams) for Thursday night football, then two weeks later the Seahawks will be going to SF on 10 days rest... both are quite ideal for the Seahawks to have a chance against SF. On top of that, having back-to-back Thursday night football games means the Seahawks won't be playing the Cowboys on short rest, while the Boys will be. Four hardest games of the schedule, and the Seahawks have a scheduling leg-up in three of them.

this is actually an elite nickname for so many reasons . obviously a play on the “legion of boom” but with all the young players “baby boom” is a great nickname for the defense

Love the hawks front office. I want to be real here, they had some very bad drafts for quite a few years in a row. Obviously, its easier when you are drafting higher and have more picks etc. They have proven when they have a ton of picks in the early to mid rounds, they strike gold. All those years of picking late first they just never really found anything. Brooks has been pretty good. Bout it first round wise before the last two years

Hawks have a brutal 4 game schedule whet they play SAN FRAN, Dallas and Philly in 4 weeks but hawks are gonna give the niners a little bit of a run. 49ers still the best team in the league.

Niners will show why they ain’t going anywhere for along while. If ,I’m a hawks fan, I would not like the bye at week 5. 13 straight games is going to be rough.

AND... Why the heck did the coach for the Giants let Jones stay in? That was brutal injustice to him! Period! Reminds me of Wilson that the O line of the Hawks couldn't protect him so he had to scramble And had to carry the game? I like Jones but I'm in love with Geno as a Hawks fan....Go Spoon!

I think Njigba and Bobo are both very talented and will be. But I don't think they'll get as much press because they're both utility type players. They have a place in Seattle, and they will make an impact, but they might not be the big player people the media loves.

Hawks should genuinely be 4-0. Getting through the shock of losing half the O-Line in Game 1 was tough. I'm still not as high on them as some others, but hopefully this bye week gets guys healthy and we can be at full speed and see what they're really capable next week!

Im a hawks fan and I love when the national guys talk about the team, but that Giants team was trash. Seattle should have put up 40 or 50 on them like Dallas did. Seattle is still a middle of the road team until they can put both sides of the ball together at the same time.
