We found an iron stained quartz outcropping that was a fissure filled vein structure ( epithermal ) and it contains an insane amount of Gold . We want you to see what to look for when you are in the field so you will know what to look for and find your own Gold mine. Again my brain hurts from all the info shared in this video, "but you know what i'm gonna say, dont'ya.....I LOVE IT!!!!" Always a pleasure to watch someone who knows what they're talking about, and especially someone as passionate about gold and geology as the man , the myth, the legend - Jeff Williams. I've been into gold for years but had an extremely hard time trying to find a good starting point, and how to make sense of the geology lingo. Guess you could say i'm a bit of a lone wolf., no gold buddies locally... but if you listen to what he says and do some follow up research , this is better than taking geology classes any day of the week! Now i'm starting to feel like a gold sniper, the geology around me is starting to really make sense- i see things now that i never would have recognized without your help and thanks to the research you led me into. Through your passion and craziness you have completely reignited the flame i once had for getting out, doing prospecting and searching for the lode. Thanks again Jeff

A lot of people worry about that... gold is 19times heavier than everything else so it drops to the bottom really fast when you stratify... even very aggressively as Jeff does. The only thing people should take note on is the debate on swirling/circular motions as u stratify... most would argue you should only go side to side and at the correct angle down away from you to drive the heavies to the pocket(the corner at the bottom of the pan). I have used both methods and they both achieve the same result but side to side is more time efficient some say. Just as long as you stratify it will drive the gold down. Just put a dime in a box of cereal and shake side to side and eventually it will get to the bottom... same idea but gold does it really quickly. If you ever strat too aggressively just sample pan the overburden in the tub to be sure. Jeff has done this as we all have and you end up knowing how hard you can strat.
