Easily the best follow-through in baseball. Jumping around after strikeouts and stuff, it's comedy. People say: "He only throws a curveball." Yes and no. Sweeping cuve, Slurve, 12-6, RARE slider, knuckle-curve, and a fastball that so many hitter lay off of for a "caught looking". Hill is fun to watch because he truly pitches in reverse. One of my favorite highlights I've made this year, I think the music matches him.

I think the reason why many batters are caught-looking is because they are too concentrated watching Hill finishing his motion. He's awesome

I really miss Hill on Dodgers roster! The guy has a incredible clutch and his curveballs are a fucking mirage! Makes me mad think that he could be a champion in 2017 if the Astros are a serious team! Hopes he make a good season with the Rays!

It's too bad he couldn't be this healthy his entire career because just WOW at the curves and slurves this guy has. Found myself rooting for the Dodgers this post season because him and Kershaw are just so fun to watch.

Probably the most important pitcher on the Dodger staff right now. Classic late-bloomer who can throw all his pitches for strikes from three different arm slots (O_O)! His curveball is every bit as good as Kershaw's and he can throw it at any time no matter the count. However, where he's most valuable to the team is that the younger southpaws like Kershaw, Wood, Ryu, and Cingrani can learn a great deal from him. Immense competitor, glad the Dodgers liberated him from Oakland nearly two years ago... ;-)

shutout to the homie Roberts BUT pulling Hill in his perfect game after Puig threw his body on the warning track like a pancake was so disrespectful. Shame.

A Turtle naw bro. This was a perfect game with a low pitch count in where the opposition looked absolutely lost. 30 pitches would have sealed it.

To have the perfect game taken away from him at this point in his career really sucks for him. Being a Giants fan I wish he would have stayed in and finished it especially after puig made that catch. Blisters go away eventually!!

Big reason for his success is that it's hard to hit homers off of curveballs. I remember watching him as a reliever with the Indians, and he was god-awful. Glad to see he's finally worked things out.

Why would that manage take him out when we was working on a perfect game? So ridiculous smh
@jg24dejr888 жыл бұрын
Michael Thomas The primary reason was due to his lingering blister issues. Roberts did that to protect him.

Tyler Jennings Ohhhh okay. I understand now. That makes sense
@austin87838 жыл бұрын
its a pitch count thing. baseball is too concerned with protecting pitchers' arms so usually around 100 or so pitches managers pull the plug. no matter what.
@michaelthomas87888 жыл бұрын
Yeah I'm aware of that. Something else to acknowledge
@jg24dejr888 жыл бұрын
Green Day182 Only issue with that was Hill was at 89 pitches when he was taken out. Roberts cited a tender region on Hill's hand. But you are correct, most managers do that to protect arms for future reasons.
