Martin Freedman nah my guy gets like 2 or 3 walks the whole year and like 400-500 strikeouts a year

It sickens me how much disrespect this Legend gets. I shudder to think if mainstream will remember his postseasons more or his career as a whole when he retires. Just remember people, winning a postseason takes more than 1 guy. Even Bumgarner needed a somewhat productive offense and a good bullpen when he didn't go 9 in the Post.

+MVPFLF a testament to Clayton Kershaw's greatness is that he gets blown out in the post season but still remains in GOAT pitcher conversation.

It's just frustrating as a Dodgers fan. You see our rival the Giants and MadBum just completely take over the postseason and lead his team to the championship. I want our ace, arguably the greatest pitcher of all time, to do what MadBum did
@MVPFLF8 жыл бұрын
Me too but he's had 5 postseasons to do so. I've come to the realization that we will only win a WS when Bellinger, Verdugo, Seager, Urias, deLeon, and all of them are together on one team. Kershaw ain't 100% reliable after the regular season. 5 years man. 5 years to go have a dominant post. He not a sure thing anymore
@EonArashi7 жыл бұрын
I got to see Mike Mussina and Greg Maddux pitch a few times as a kid. Kershaw gives off that same vibe; controlled competence and complete skill where you know he can do anything he wants to. Cliff Lee in his prime was similar, and I got to see him a lot. Everyone should appreciate watching this man work. Thanks for making this compilation.

As an angels fan, its reasonable to hate the Dodgers, in a competitive way that is. But Clayton Kershaw is something different. Something special. Like a gift from up there. He's been my role model even as an angels fan, watching him pitch live is truly a great honour for everyone

It's scary how good he is. That 73mph 12-6 curve is devastating. Then can touch 96mph with the 4 Seam. And it's Damn near the same wind up and delivery. I'm a tigers fan Verlander is great but Kershaw is the Ace on any team. The numbers prove he's the best. Will never get Ryan's K record but still the best pitcher of his era
@Andy-hb3zp8 жыл бұрын
It sucks that he got hurt. He was having an all-time great season. Probably would've broken the all time K/BB record, finished with an ERA under 1.80, and struck out around 310 batters

Clayton Kershaw is the individual version of the Chicago Cubs before they won it all this year. He may just be cursed. He's the Moses of baseball. He'll take you to the promised land - the postseason but he is forbidden of entering the World Series. :(

I thought I was the ONLY one. I LOVE Vinny but it annoyed me every single time. I don't think it had much to do with his age but rather no one having the guts to tell him to fix that error. Kids watching the game would be confused of what Kershaw is throwing @ 74 MPH and why it has such a big break.

@everythingdodgers99668 жыл бұрын
Franklin - Yea Kershaw and AJ are like a package, brothers of each other, and you never separate a chance like that especially because AJ caught Kershaw's no hitter, and if a catcher is behind home plate for a no hitter, you should never trade that catcher

Kershaw's playoff luck has to go the other way at some point. Every time he pitches well in the postseason he gets screwed by offense and babip. His career postseason SIERA, considered the best ERA predictor, is actually .29 lower than his regular season's. But oh well, right now we just have to settle for maybe the greatest regular season performance in history. Please, O baseball deities, cut the GOAT some slack.
@icypotato56288 жыл бұрын
man, how i wish he would have a dominant postseason to shut everyone up. he hasnt even been necessarily bad in the postseason, just two awful starts against st. louis have overshadowed the good. i just cant wrap my head around how he struggles in the postseason though. does he just get tired?
@MVPFLF8 жыл бұрын
He overthinks it all and tries to be perfect. I also think he has an adrenaline dump before the 7th inning comes around.

@kamb268 жыл бұрын
He is the best in the game but going 5 innings, giving up 5 runs, and only pitching around 160 innings was all Kershaw. He finally had an offense to break through but he crumbled when it mattered. He also almost choked in the NLDS, but his offense bailed him out. He is already in the Hall in my opinion but he just gets lit up in the postseason
