Yes, I especially like to buy the street magazines that some of them are selling because these people are trying really hard to get out of their situation. People who don't sell them need help too but I give extra to the people selling. I have offered food as well and my experience is that they really appreciate it, but in my country (Germany) they can get food from various charity places whereas the money is used for a place to stay the night, some shelters have a small fee and some people try to make enough to stay at a hostel or similar. They may also need money to get official documents in order to get back into the system as well.

This was so touching. I remember once a homeless man stopped me in Manchester and I didn't have any change on me so I apologised and he smiled at me and said "You smiling and acknowledging me is enough, I've been here for ages and not one person has said what you've said" and he just kept thanking me. It had never occurred to me that people just ignored homeless people and this video has reminded me of that day.

My family and I are working class; not rich, but not so poor either. One day we had people fix our roof for a week straight and one thing that would always stick out from that whole week is that my father would always check in on them, give them pizza, food, and water if needed, as well as applaud their efforts. He's always been so generous, and I think he knows what it feels like to do work uncongratulated; everyone will know it at some point

Some homeless people don t ask for money and some work particularly in london. Ignorance is rife against these types., let all these rich rids have a taste of real life and then they can criticised the homeless. Psychologically does josh cry for himself ,because of his bad experience or others, I hope both although I would not wish that on anyone it opened his eyes. I must admit though Josh seems a nice guy compared to some of the rich kids I ve met. I hope josh remembers and learns something through his short and unpleasant experience. This terrible social disease of homelessness which is getting worse in Britain and is becoming as bad as third world cities must end.
