Honestly, I don't know how to feel about this episode. Fergus firstly is not responsible for her having four children that was her choice and lastly he certainly is not responsible for her having a 1000pound paying job. It is commendable how she takes care of her child and other expenses she has but she is being too aggressive with comparison her and Fergus's lifestyle. It is NOT his fault that he was born into wealth and can afford the finer things in life even if it is his dad providing the money for it. He shouldn't be made to feel guilty and ashamed for it, yes, he can be taught to be more appreciative for the life he has but definitely should not be made to feel ashamed for it.

Everyone that over buys stuff, wastes stuff, imports ton of clothing from countries that don’t treat workers properly and such should be ashamed. It’s not the money the issue, for that he shouldn’t be ashamed for sure. Wasting money and his health on booze? Buying tons of goods and ditching them 2 months later because they are not currant enough, not « in », that’s definitely shameful

The lady wasn't the best candidate for this experience, you can't make someone feel bad over a life they found themselves into, Fergus didn't pick to be born in an affluent family,she should stop instilling guilt, instead let him learn the ways of life on a different perspective, I honestly didn't like her tone and treatment towards Fergus ... Life is not about the money, because when you die it means nothing, how you are as a person, and what you do in this life,money or not, that’s how you are judged..if you have money, do kindful acts, pay it forward, if you don’t have money, small things can make a huge difference on someone day, a smile cost nothing, lending an ear cost nothing.. everyone has a purpose, but regardless of money live life to be the best version of yourself. Except that it takes 2 to have children - I haven't watched the whole video yet so don't know if she was in a more stable situation when she chose to have kids (she said 4 kids, not 5), but lots of stable households break up for various valid reasons and then the parents are plunged into the hardships of single parenthood, from 2 incomes to 1. But I agree she was very judging and self-righteous, pressing Fergus to feel ashamed when he clearly already felt that way so he didn't need her making him feel worse (plus criticizing the way he talks, "supper" instead of "dinner").

I agree, money can be a curse, and i to give to other's even though i am disabled and don't have a lot of money. I definitely had more money when i was working, but a bad accident, getting progressive MS that is causing muscle wasting on my entire left side really changed my life, but it brought me closer to Jesus, and i have changed my life to follow G-d, and what Christ taught. I know people have it harder than me, but i thank the Lord for everything i have, and i trust in Him, and my prayers are answered because i have faith and trust that the Lord will watch over me if i do what Christ taught. Our life is just a second of eternity, and i am not of this world, and pray to be found worthy of the Kingdom. I read the Bible, and ask for wisdom, understanding, and knowledge of what i am reading, and i would have not learned the thing's i needed to know had i not become disabled. Christ taught us the two greatest commandments, to love the Lord with all your heart, mind, and soul, and the second, to love my neighbor and to help them, the whole Law and the prophet's rest on these two commands as Christ stated. The one man who asked Christ what he should do to be worthy of heaven, and he tells Him the commandments, and Christ tells him yes, but to sell all he has and help other's. The man put his head down and left, because he had a lot of wealth he wouldn't part with. Christ then tells the Apostles that it's easier for a camel to fir through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter heaven. Helping other's isn't always with money, doing thing's for other people is what we must do as well. I don't believe in organised religion, because it has been corrupted with wrong teaching, and evil that is out to cause people to stumble. G-d bless everyone.

So this may be an unpopular opinion. So just so yall know, I’m in the US and far from privileged. Living paycheck to paycheck check to paycheck. With that out of the way, I’m a bit annoyed by all these episodes. I don’t understand why they pass so much judgement…. If they have the money, why not spend it?? Of course it is good and absolutely needed for these rich kids to learn basic living skills. But at the end of the day these family’s have no right being upset or feeling some type of way for the guests having the money to spend💁🏼‍♀️ they would be doing the same. Anyone would. At the end of the day we ALL judge and stereotype. We can thank the tv and social media for that. (And if you say you don’t, you’re LYING. we all do it. It can be negative or positive but we all think things about other people.) judgment is just like opinions. We all have them. It doesn’t make it fact, but we all have them.

Amen!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 YES!! They're hating on the successfulness of the families that raised these kids, when in actuality the ones who end up being more humble is usually the rich kids off the bat, not the other way around

@@laxel01 i mean he is a grown adult, he should learn to live on his own someday. What happen when the family lost the money or some. Even when i have much money i still would my kids to value money and not just spend it. I dont like how judgemental she was but i stilm thinks a reality check how most people of the world live its important.

If you have that kind of money you should spend a lot of it on helping others meet their basic needs, not a lot of frivolous stuff for yourself. Generally people who have been poor are more cognizant of their responsibility to help people who are less well off because they’ve been there.
@kaysimatherly5715

@@emmanarotzky6565 they don’t have to do that though. They could have worked hard for that money and have every right to buy nice things for themselves. That doesn’t make them bad in my book. And just because they do buy nice things for themselves does not mean they don’t help others. People (like myself) who aren’t fortunate like others shouldn’t expect a hand out. I was raised poor and still am. I’d never expect anyone to hustle hand out money to me. I expect them to buy the finer things in life. And I ain’t mad about it I’m over here praising them and happy for them. As you should to💁🏼‍♀️

they’re bitter. they are taking their bitterness out on people who are highly favored and blessed (usually these rich kids are very sweet and nonjudgmental) some of these “lower class” people will never see success because they are so unhappy with themselves and life that they have no motivation to do better. they sit there and have tons of kids then complain when they can’t put food on table. most of them CAN work but rather live off benefits.

It's crazy how different the benefits are in the UK from the US. We used to get 400$ a month just for food (But, I feel like food is way more expensive here.). I couldn't imagine trying to feed 2 adults and a child on 40$/week. Our food banks are messed up though. The times that my husband went to the food bank, he got lots of bread (some of which was moldy.), Lots of canned food, lots of dried lentils, beans, and split peas (All things that my husband doesn't eat). Huge bags of raisins, walnuts, and almonds. Hardly any meat or eggs. Everything is high in sugar, salt, and preservatives. I would have preferred a bag of flour, sugar, some yeast, etc. Things to make food from scratch.

I honestly feel like Fergus is genuinely there for those kids probably more than any other man in there lives in those few days than they probably seen maybe even ever or in a long time. I feel like if she gave him that hard of a time and he didn't have those kids, imagine how things could have been with the father's of those boys that she chose to get with... Like if thats how she came off at first when she just met him, then imagine the men she had kids with. Maybe they felt disrespected? Or maybe they were less of a man to them kids than Fergus? Either way I dont know, but i actually ended up feeling like she judged Fergus intially more than he judged them, and he was a lot less intrusive than she was. I feeel like often times the poorer people end up with more of the preconceived notions on this show than the rich kids... Its not anyoine on either sides fault, but i think the media has a lot to do with it and the feminist "anti-rich, woke culture" 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ just saying

Every episode has a seemingly planned segment where finances and spending are discussed. Loads of comments regarding the unfairness to the skint kids,...disdain and jealously from the host family. It may not be polite since money, politics and religion are social faux pas, but the show is trying to create drama.

What I find in most of poor people is that to start with I'm that they are undereducated so their perspective are completely different to others. They also live in a circle that people think , act and live like them, so there not much they can achieve mentally, Intellectually, etc. So even though I think she could sound rude or act rude she doesn't know any better and she will pass down the same s*** to her kids that may or may not get better in life later on, even though they become a famous footballer on celebrity. Still the background and the mentality back home is poor!

As a parent you make the best with what you can provide. Whether you are poor or rich it’s natural to want to help your children get ahead and have better than what you had. It’s not the kids fault for being born in different circumstances. He may not have thought of long term but don’t shame him for not having the life you had. I’m sure this lady would think and act different if she suddenly had millions. I kind of cringe she was talking about not judging but she was doing it saying how he was posh and remarking about his name and how he wouldn’t like sleeping on her sofa. He took it well and didn’t complain and showed courtesy.
