Sometimes I think it's a good thing Rich didn't live to see how far American Christianity would abandon Christ in the name of partisan politics and passing power... How few are those left who truly long for Heaven.

I hear what ur saying, but the left clearly doesn't want godly principles in their policies and the right wants godly principles but doesn't long for the king to return to earth, they would rather have trump as their king. Both are evil

Sometimes I think the same about my father who died in 2008.

I totally agree with you, the more I listen to politicians, the more I'm convicted to look at God and be reminded that my safety and security and my future are in His hands and His hands only.

Rich Mullins was one of a kind do to his amazing honesty. Because he wore his heart on his sleeve he showed everyone what its like to truly walk the narrow road. Its a daily struggle to fight against the ways of this world. Some days are much harder than others so its on those days our longing for heaven and the return of Christ reign supreme. Even though I miss his work and feel his personal struggle created a kind of music that was unmatched by others, I am so grateful to think he finally made it and his struggles and heartache could finally be cured by the loving God he so longed for. Well done good and faithful servant. You left a great example for all of us.

3:12 "Someday there will be a judgment. And because we have a loving and a forgiving father,...maybe we'll survive it." That rings deeply to me. I think of the story where Jesus said (maybe it was to someone named Simon) that he who is forgiven little loves litttle. But he who is forgiven much loves much. With that thought in mind, a few years back i asked God to show me how MUCH he has forgiven me. My life in those next few years convinced me of the magnitude of my wickedness. And I think that now I love Him more because of Him opening my eyes somewhat regarding that.

Rich realized a lot sooner than many of us, that the govt is not our salvation. It makes me sad when I read or hear brothers and sisters in Christ talking about political solutions for spiritual problems.

This is dark, hard to listen to, but I sometimes feel the same way. America has constructed the best, most fair government the world has ever seen, but our citizens must participate to make it work. It is a "we" situation not a "them". We must, must keep informed and vote. If you believe in God and Jesus, more power to you. I am sure that God gave us the agency, our beautiful minds, to make this self government experiment continue to work...for all of us. I am also sorry this kind and talented man died too young.

Thank You & Yes I Do believe Jesus is the only way. It’s John too bad the government our forefathers designed is hardly recognizable anymore. You can hardly Speak without “offending “ someone. Careers have been Lost because something they said was taken out of context. That’s not only Ridiculous but down right Scary. The old saying “if it Feels good do it” is Straight from Satan. And we believed it!! So Sad. That’s the Total Oposite of what the Lord said…”Do Unto Others as you would have them do unto You”. How different would the work Be if Everyone went by that One????
