Epic job Rich. Those fells are brutal when you are pushing your bike up them and a lot of the down-hills aren't exactly an easy ride either! Great job. Having to set-up your own shots on the hardest parts of the ride can't have helped either! Awesome!
@Richard_Payne_GMBN4 жыл бұрын
Thanks, yeah it wasn't easy but loved the challenge and looking forward to the next one.
@richcrompton68914 жыл бұрын
Richard Payne I look forward to it. My first trip to the fells on an MTB was in 1988! I had a Raleigh Technium which was a tiny bit too big for me. I set off from Ravenglass with a map and compass and ended up on the top of Scafell! I thought I was somewhere completely different for most of the climb! I upped my navigation skills after that one. The rough downhills managed to break the strap of my watch too, so I had no idea of time either and I had to catch a train back home to Blackburn later that afternoon. Happy days! Lol!

Good effort mate! Always worth using a satellite overlap to see what is shown on the map is actually on the ground. Can be useful, as well, for seeing the surface you'll be riding on, so you can gauge how hard or easy it will be. Great video, love this kind of content.

Yorkshire tea is my favourite tea. Its colour has to be a close match to He Man's skin tone for it to be a good cuppa. Owt paler and it's soft shandy drinking southerner's tea. Owt darker and it's rough arsed builder's tea and I'm more refined than that.
