Hi. Great video. Have tried various jackets from SBS (Oxford, Weise and RST) but can't yet find anything that's suitable. Re sizing I'm about 44" chest and although I usually opt for an XL, would you suggest a 2Xl for this make and model ? I also found Oxford jackets far too long in the arm so do you have any measurements (armpit to cuff) for the 2XL size ? Thanks in anticipation. Regards. John

@@JohnHyman-e7l Hi thanks for checking out the channel. The jackets are a sort of stretchy form fitting materials. Id advise going up a size from your normal size. They aren't too bad around the chest but can be tight around the stomach. If you buy from Gerbing directly, there customer service is excellent. I bought mine from their stall at the NEC bike show, and when I phoned a few days later to exchange it for a larger size I had no problems, they were very helpful. I wouldn't imagine arm length being a problem, the arms are a generous length and as I say, stretchy. I've now got the trousers and gloves and everything is still working perfectly. Definitely a quality product. I hope this helps. Ride safe 👍

I do like this jacket. Reviews, including yours are positive. There were some less than complimentary comments regarding the quality of the jacket. After two years are you still using it? If so what are your updated thoughts? Cheers Marko.👍

Very good review, bought one a week ago, used only once so far in light rain, no issues. Also don't forget about the napoleon pocket in the coat. Haven't bought the pants yet, need to do a bit more research

Thanks for checking out the review. I have just bought a gerbing heated jacket, the review is on my channel. With that all you need is a base layer and a t-shirt. Before I bought that in winter on long rides I would wear a marino wool base layer top and bottom, a t-shirt, a micro fleece and a down jacket. I also have down trousers. By using multiple thin layers you trap the heat between each layer which works far better than big bulky layers. Its also more comfortable to ride in. I have a video on this subject which will be on the channel towards the end of January. Ride safe 👍

Great review. Going to buy this suit. I tried it on in the shop and it's feels really good on. You are correct about the sizes 3xl seem to be right for me. I wonder will it be loose in the summer when the liner comes out. Subscribed btw. Thanks

Thanks for checking out the review. The jacket size is on the small size so I recommend getting a size up from your usual size. The trousers on the other hand seem to be sized correct so get your normal size for the trousers. Ride safe 👍

Hi Thanks for checking out the review. I would order a size up from your normal size as they are very snug fitting. Im a 44 inch chest and usualy have an XL jacket. However I ordered a XXL and it fits perfect. Ride safe.
