I thought this on my first watch through. The colors strangely match up with the meanings of _lightsaber_ colors. Wario's is red because he seeks power. Mario seeks to protect his friends. Luigi seeks peace, even by force. and Waluigi's is purple because of his moral ambiguity. This is probably coincidence but it is interesting.

i believe that it is due to the original blade of the Super Smash Bros. beam sword being blue and the reason warios is red is due to the fact that he is the "anti-mario" and red is the opposite of blue...

@@djclueless2742 The way they treated this throughout the series was actually really cool to see. What you said definitely applies, but Mario and Wario end up with their rightfully coloured beam swords due to how the story progresses. SPOILERS Decious destroys Mario's blue beam sword and Wario steals the Nether Saber which is yellow in colour, which originates from when Merlin created it. When Mario on the brink of death gets consumed by the Darkness and faces against Wario, he steals Wario's old beam sword which is how he ends up with a red saber. It's all pretty cool how they all get their respective colours while making perfect sense in the story.

Best Episode Moment: There really is know best singular moment in this episode, it really is all one well condensed piece of bad-assery. I think Waluigi really is the best lightsaber wielder in the series.

In the next episode, Mario assembles the nether emblems, has an epic battle with Nox Decious, once he's close to beating him Ash comes out of nowhere and catches Nox Decious, Luigi talks about how intense the fight was then asks Mario what he wants to do next. That's what I think will happen next.
