nah i dont think so. I am embarrassingly familiar with the show, and i think mark isnt quite so rotund- he's a little taller and a little thinner..? just doesnt look quite a spitting image, but pretty damn close!

I will never understand why people keep repeating the "the more I hear about hitler the less I like him" joke. It has been repeated on every British panel show for the last 10 years. Kinda funny the first time around, not funny the next thousand times

yeah thats trrue. I find the Americans much more obsessed though. I went to uni for a year in Germany and every American i met over there would not stop talking about it. Very strange to be stuck in the past like that, especially when modern day Germany is just so so different

+razmataz13drums In all fairness, World War 2 is undoubtedly the most significant and world changing event in the past hundred years, if not in the past thousand, so I don't think it's that odd that it's common fodder for comedy. Every country has something that can be used to take the piss out of them, it just so happens the easiest one to go for is WW2 for Germany.

razmataz13drums essentially, the Germans tried to take over the world twice, and the second time wasn't that long ago. My grandfather was a pow in ww2. I agree Germany has changed a lot but that, engineering, chocolate and weird porn are what i associate with Germany
