In the intro, he talks of "celebrating" gadgets. If this is him celebrating, I hate to think just how underwhelmed he could have got if he wasn't. I think there's a serious chance he'd be running a warm bath and selecting a blade from his Wenger stackpack to open a vein with! (Actually that's probably not true. With that assortment to hand you would not need to select a vein. You'd be assured of slicing half a dozen just by the operation of random chance.)

My back ached so severely this morning that I couldn’t move to go to the bathroom or get up for quite some time. My knees hurt so much now that I’m tucked in at the end of the day, and almost everything in this (even the ideas of impossible things like those mechanical powerpuffs helping that woman get ready in black and white) looks so good. I can see how the Rollie can make you sick of eggs and that texture quickly, but there are hard boiling gadgets, you could toss an herb and some cheese in there to mix things up. It’s at least easy access to hot, real food for people like me who struggle with feeding themselves

It's a show bout everything you'll never need, in a context where there are things you need, but you've just given a child the black card and told him to buy stuff. I'm very happy this channel is here and that I found it after several years of hoping to find someone who is funny and mentally engaging. Benny Hill? Almost, but he's not funny. I lost this channel by neglecting to subscribe or bookmark, it. Sparing myself needless pain, I also forgot about it. Yesterday I remembered about it. I searched for things like funny English travel guy, but got nowhere. I watch a few travel videos by English guys, and some comedy segments. I then forgot about it again. So it was awfully Easter-Birthday-Christmasy to fire up the red-rounded-rectangle page and see the funny and adorable Travel Man loitering in the stack of suggestions that the red-rectangle usually get so wrong. Three cheers for Travel Man: incomparable, bright as a gas-light, sharp as a tack.

It seems to survive in the outdoors, you need to make some kind of indoors to go in. So maybe we are all surviving the outdoors by sleeping at home

Nothing beats going outside & enjoying nature while you read on your tablet. Or play games. Or watch KZbin. But reading means you can still hear the nature too. Books also work. Just don't try to page up like I have multiple times. Tablets/kindle are easier on my neck/back.

I love how “the stadium pal” is all pre-existing stuff, a leg bag for a catheter, with a Texas catheter and catheter tubing, that’s all. It’s an existing set up in healthcare.

After watching just 13min of this I only think of one thing. What a massive amount of worthless gadgets. Where exactly do you plan to get the water to the Jacuzzi. The biggest problem with a Jacuzzi is not the Jacuzzi itself. It is the clean water you need to fill it. Why exactly are you lugging around a +200kg oven? You are going to need a car and a couple of people just to haul that thing around. When you get to that point. Just build a house.

@@theedicatorlps6097 I am just going to make this clear to you. This show is obviously just made to show off gadgets. However Richard defined a gadget as: "Gadgets exist to help us in small ways to make life just that much better to live in." So if we look at episode 1 he show 2 objects especially. The oven and the hot tub. The oven weigh 280kg just by itself. That is without considering the firewood that require to fuel it. The hot tub require 1540 liters of water to filled up. That is 1540kg of water (total weight is apparently 1,973kg when filled in reviews). It will heat the water between 1-1.5 degrees / hour. So if you have 20 degrees of water, it takes between 13-20 hours to heat up to 40 degrees (reviews say it takes 48 hours when it is first filled). It also require a power source to do so. So just having those two things require YOU to haul over 1.8 tonne of equipment and resources to your camping location. Your average car weigh around 1.3 tonne. And that is ignoring that you need food, fuel and some people to help you do the heavy lifts as you are not moving that 280kg oven yourself. What is the point of having portable equipment when it is literally tonnes you have to move? No one is buying a portable hot tub when they need more then a cars weight in water and a power supply to match? You are already close to a house as that point so just get a normal outdoors hot tub. These gadgets fail the point Richard said a gadget should do. These gadgets are like a knife that can not cut. EDIT: I love being in a hot tub when it is cold outside and when you are camping. (I am a scout leader on my free time). However. There is a reason no one actually want to do a hot tub outside when you go out camping. It is horrible to get it to that point. It is hard hard work and no one wants to do it.
