Richard Bandler is one of my heroes. In all the years of watching his lectures and interviews, he only gets bette with time. He is getting older and I must find a way to meet him before he dies.

A bit of fun really. But it is from matrix reloaded. He reminds me of the architect a little. Like him he is a genius! The architect built the matrix program as a form of control Richard Bandler built the world of NLP and has given people more control over there lives. He is the architect who built NLP along with another.

Angelique de Graaf conducts this interview as if Bandler is the sole creator of NLP without reference to the other NLP co-creators (Grinder/Pucelik) who she also courts interviews from. The difference is Grinder and Pucelik are courteous enough to acknowledge Bandler in their interviews and presentations whilst de Graff and Bandler in this interview pretend NLP was solely created by Bandler. A total misrepresentation.

+Michael Carroll , thank you for your comment. As English is my second language, I would prefer English spoken with much longer breathing pauses, relaxed voice, more careful articulation, and a slower speech rate. Now I will have to listen once more - at least - in order to understand, his ideas.

+Michael Carroll I'm only new to looking into NLP and have also noticed lack of credit reference not only on this page, but elsewhere as well. That doesn't mean I don't like Bandler, it's just an observation I didn't know I had until I read your comment.

Pucelik? What are you talking about? How is this guy? Where his results in NLP as co-creator? Maybe some books with original models? (Not rewriting Bandler- Grinder ideas of metamodel and parts) Ok, if Pucelik today "cocreator" what about another people? Steve Andreas? Robert Dilts? Leslie Cameron? Delozier? David Gordon? These people have done much more in NLP field. Books with original models, videos and etc.

Yes, great points Michael.

Does anyone know if there's any fragment in any of the Bandler's books where he gives credit to other people he took his ideas from(even indirectly)? No one ever mentions Korzybski for example. So far I understand NLP is a synthesis of several ideas of other scholars. Sort of a cherry pick this and that because it seems logical. NLP is not really that original, maybe creative in a sense that it took other ideas and synthetized them.

'You can't teach old dogs new tricks' ? Of course not, but remember it only applies to dogs not humans silly!
