Me too. I trained with him in the late 90's. I was expecting a 'professor' to give lectures on a series of techniques. Instead, this crazy guy came out and told lots of seemingly disconnected and irrelevant stories - and magically I knew stuff and could do stuff I couldn't before.

Great interview with this genius who had the courage 😥 to do the research 🧐 the study and the building of NLP. Where would we be without NLP that allows us to think by ourselves? Personally, I had to fight for my freedom of speech and freedom of developing my own thinking 💭 from a very limited and repressive family. Most people look like simply Pavlov’s dogs 🐶 who automatically repeat the same old, outdated and detrimental patterns they inherited from their surroundings and this leads to depression, sickness or even worse. Thank God we have great 😊 thinkers like Dr Bandler who opens the way and the gate to more freedom, joy and accomplishment. Love 💕 to him and thank you for your show 🎉 Happy new year 🎆 from France 🇫🇷

This video is about Richard Bandler, the co-founder of NLP, sharing his ideas on how to create lasting change. The video starts with Michael Wozniak mentioning that he interviewed Dr. Richard Bandler and is sharing some of the key learnings in this video. Here are the key learnings from Dr. Richard Bandler on creating lasting change: Our ability to learn is not limited. We can keep learning new things throughout our lives. To create lasting change, we need to replace old learnings with new learnings. People tend to spend a lot of time dwelling on negative memories. This can be unproductive. We should focus on controlling our thoughts and replacing negative memories with positive ones. Our state of consciousness can significantly impact how well we learn. When we bild new cortical pathways, we overwrite the existing ones. We can use NLP techniques to shrink phobias and fears. It is important to have a clear vision of the future that motivates us to take action.

At around 14:00, when asked how to control your internal dialogue (Which is why I'm watching this) almost immediately when he started to explain about turning your dialogue being spoken like Sylvester the cat. All of a sudden. My mind started to drift about buying a cycle helmet and how I'd get on my bike and go to a special store, bla bla bla. I need to control this...
