I am committed to transforming the U.S. education system into a global leader. I won't be deterred by critics or intimidated by those who resist change. Our government funds our colleges very inefficiently, EU funds their colleges @$9k/student-year, professors make living wage, and no Student tuition. The USA funds ~$980 billion @$50k/student-year, with ~$25k tuition and insecure job security for 76% of professors. As an early MOOC founder, 2 yrs before Coursera & 3 years before edX. I'm a leading College disruptor who, in 30 seconds, nudged Harvard & MIT to add low-cost bachelors to their edX platform. A short time after edX, Coursera followed up, making robust college degrees accessible to over 200 million students.

Policymakers? The sounds like something out of the administrative state. Shouldn't our elected representatives be described as lawmakers?
