I live in Uppsala Sweden and we've had *lots* of honor killings right in my town. Actually a young woman was talking about this in the Parliament with all politicians listening. She was later killed by her father for having a Swedish boyfriend. And it's estimated around 250.000 young girls/boys are controlled by their parents or relatives because of "honor" causes. A good friend of mine who is an atheist has traveled to every continent apart from Antarctica. She spent many years in the UK, and came back to Australia. Then she spent 10 years working in Saudi Arabia and used that as a hub to travel all around the region in her time off. Christopher hitchens once spoke about a girl of 13 being gang raped in somalia and who was stoned to death for the crime of being raped under Islamic law. You also have some eminent scientists who are christians such as Francis Collins who was the head of the genome project and has written a book on how he brings the two together called 'The Language of God'. The other thing you dont hear people talk about is the full title of Darwin's book which is ' On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life.' From that Darwin's cousin Francis Galton came up with Eugenics theory. It said that morals as well as ability could be bred and they took steps to reduce certain populations by sterilisation and sending them to war. These ideas went international, Scandinavians, and Americans carried his ideas and so did the Germans who formed the Racial Hygiene Society who went from Eugenics theory to Auschwitz in not many bounds which is why you dont ear about it much today. In the UK a Mr Roundtree who was a christian set about proving through statistical analysis that this wasnt true and helped to keep the UK out of this, not least because the UK had strong christian ethics with its emphasis on sanctity of life... ..made in Gods image.

I live in a part of London that has an Amen corner where each Saturday xtians and Muslim's try to preach their religion and apart from the irritating noise of their Bullhorns most people ignore them but if you have the temerity to disagree with them the Muslim's call you an Islamaphobe the Christians tell me with a smile that I'm heading straight to hell. They deny scientific evidence of evolution and claim we came from Adam & Eve, 160,000 years ago when we have found homo-erectus skeletons older than 1.6 million years ago on multiple continents. Homo-erectus had a large but short ribcage like Neanderthals, rather than the longer, flatter chest of modern humans which again strenghtens the proof of evolution, but it was walking up right according to it's spine structure. It was the first hominin to migrate out of Africa, their brains were small but smart enough to use tools. How does it make sense that Allah/God commanded Moses to save the Isreali jew slaves from Egypt, but then be ok with forced slave marriages upon believing women in the Quran? So rescue the slaves, but owning slaves is still ok? Quran 4:25 Those among you who cannot afford to marry free believing women, may marry believing slave women. How does it make sense that the Quran says to marry women when they reach maturity, yet Prophet Muhammed married Aisha daughter of Abu-Bakr when she was 6. Or the Quran saying to have max 4 wives, yet he had 12. Or Abraham marrying Sarah his cousin in Islam, but Half-sister in Christianity. Why can prophets break gods laws?

When 2 super gigantic black holes collide and the singularity coefficient becomes larger than that of the gravitational pull of the black hole, the black hole explodes in spectacular fashion (big bang) all the condensed energy explodes outward, the warped space from the black hole expands back out due to the explosion (inflation) The energy spreads, beginning to cool. Gas clouds form. Stars again begin to form. Universe starts again with quite possibly different governing laws of its own reality. Rendering the universe (in a many multiverse reality) eternal. Let’s go to evolution. We have direct evidence that evolution is a biological fact. You can google Darwin’s finches, or Chernobyl black frog if you want to see evolution within our own lifetime. You have 2 parents. Your dads DNA is DNA A your mums is DNA B Your DNA is DNA AB Your partner has two parents Your partners dads DNA is DNA C Your partners mums DNA is DNA D Your partners DNA is DNA CD. Your children will have DNA ABCD. Notice the difference ? If there was no evolution we would all have the same DNA . You wouldn’t have white polar bears, white wolves, white tigers, white foxes in colder surroundings where they have adapted. Not to mention all the different species of say, spider or ant. When you breed a Labrador and a poodle, you get a mix. This is evolution. Let’s go to the main part where I was going with this. Apes and us share the same ancestors. Even from pictures you can actually see the resemblance. Chimps stayed in trees, we took to the ground, for most likely food reasons. The first thing you would need to adapt to is the long grass, to be able to see your natural predators. (Keep in mind these changes took over hundreds of thousands of years) So we begin to walk upright. We do not climb trees anymore but walk on the ground. Our feet begin to flatten. We invent tools for hunting, our muscles begin to shrink and we become weaker than our ancestors. We begin using cloth and shelter. Our bodies don’t need withstand the cold as much, we begin to lose bodily hair. We eat with tools, so our sharp teeth receded. Our mouths have become smaller and smaller due to processed food. Wisdom teeth are starting to disappear as our mouths are too small. We will lose any sign of our appendix (used for food processing) and our wisdom teeth and our bodily hair in the future. We migrate to colder countries and lose the pigmentation and become white. Even in religion, even though they won’t admit it, evolution exists. If Adam and Eve were the first humans, and Adam had brown eyes and eve had say blue, where did green eyes come from. Same with hair. Red hair, brown hair, blonde hair. Same with race. If Adam was black and Eve was white (and say for arguments sake they didn’t have mixed children, but black and white) without evolution, where did Asians come from? I won’t even go into the scientific inaccuracies of the Quran to further prove my point. With such wild claims that Mohammed split the moon and nobody witnessed this. Earth is a flat disc laid out like a carpet with the sky being held by invisible pillars. All the stars in the observable universe being close to us than the moon. Semen originating from the ribcage instead of the prostate. All life being created in pairs when parthenogenetic species such as the marbled crayfish, which reproduces asexually and is an only female species, exist. Just a fun fact for you. In our reality nothingness never existed. Even in vacuum completly void of all matter, it is still not nothingness. Quantum fields and fluctuations exist. Where virtual particles can and do pop into and out of existence all the time out of “nothingness” This can be measured as it gives off energy. In classical physics you can either have your light on or off. But never both at the same time. On a quantum scale, it can be both on and off at the same time. The human brain can’t even comprehend our reality on a quantum scale. We can’t perceive higher dimensions. So it is ok to not know an answer. But your end of the argument is “Well since we don’t know, it must be god” Don’t be a simpleton.

I think the term 'Female Genital Circumcision is misused - 'Mutilation' or 'removable' being more accurate. male circumcision is removal of 'skin excess' based on an incorrect (but understandable) belief that it is 'healthier . The female equivalent is a mutilation of sexual organs & nerve area ..or stitching for male benefit & not a belief that it is 'better or healthier ' for the individual concerned .

I don’t know of a modern religion where people are afraid to freely speak or even leave the religion for fear of death; it’s quite telling of the religion and it’s participants and certainly not of a peaceful genesis. It’s most likely reflective of its human origin and culture. Have you ever heard of a Christian or a Jew who had to fear death for even criticizing their faith let alone contemplate leaving it?!? It’s interesting that Muslims proudly boast that converting to Islam is not compulsory yet when one tries to leave the faith, you’re sentence to death. Thank goodness for the West!
