That was a great episode to, if only for Hyacinth's amazing arsenal of alliterations appearing. Hailing from the country myself, being familiar with local farmers' idiosyncratic approach to language and having actually heard stories of one of them lewdly chasing a female visitor around the table, this one tops mine. Also, as a non native speaker, British people speaking gibberish peppered with the occasional intelligble word cracks me up every time for some reason.

The fascinating thing about hyacinth is how she chooses to ignore the reality of the situation, Richard has fallen and hurt himself and yet she tells him to stop messing about as if he was just playing about and the only act of empathy we see from her is her holding the car door open for him to get in, apart from that shes completely self absorbed and oblivious to her husbands pain.
