haha love Hammond in his French oral and how he made a reference to Jeremy in what he didn't like about his job! But knowing what Jeremy is like, if he were on there, he'd say "avec l'autre homme, plus petit" ("with the other man, much smaller") or "il y a un Hamster" ("he is a Hamster") as a reference to Richard in the same way which would have really confused the French teacher if Jeremy said "hamster"!

Yeah I'm fairly sure they do. I did when I was at school, but my sister learnt Spanish. I learnt some Spanish at school when I was 13, but I wasn't very good because I kept speaking Spanish with a French accent - I was used to speaking French!

actually not in Australia. We learnt German in NSW. I think it depends on state/school curriculum.
