If Richard Hawley doesn't make you smile and cry at the same time, you have no soul.

Mister Hawley has been a distant yet steady friend to my life for the past 15 years with his music. We are lucky to have him in our lives, our losses, our loves and our hopes.

Dont know if Richard wants a bigger commercial profile but i think he is underrepresented in the music scene. His music is haunting and evocative. Sure it resinates with most thinking people. Love your work son! Keep it coming. 👍

England's greatest singer songwriter. Saw the gig on Monday 7th October 2019 - only a week after the Holmfirth gig - wonderful. You cannot get enough of Richard Hawley. Hearts of Oak is now a stunning, thumping finale but utterly glorious.

Richard always seems to take me back in time to my younger days with a melody or lyric with a today feel ! I don't know how this happens but its simply appreciated. thankyou mr hawley.

Great to see a small insight into Mr Hawley and album . The man is a genius and I have a feeling he proberly wouldn't be happy with that handle . As a 55 year old and have been drumming for 40 years I would drag my kit to Sheffield to play one song with him . Another fantastic album cannot wait to see him live in Brighton .

I’ve been a fan since “Coles Corner”. I remember him playing with The Longpigs at a gig in Belfast’s Limelight in the mid ‘90’s A great singer and a great writer. “Hollow Meadows” is one of my favorite albums. A couple of friends went down to Dublin to see him play one or two years ago. They were stunned.

Richard, you succinctly hit on the answer to it all when you found yourself living in the rhythm of life. We have a cold, heartless world, and it is almost a certainty that our human species will witness more death and carnage, but to find that road the leads to the rhythm of life; even in death there is a sense of wonder, kind of like awe of knowing creation and having respect. I'm sorry about your injury, but it sounds like you would have never found that "rhythm" unless you were stopped, incapacitated and forced by the beauty. You are a lucky man
