This song will always have a huge significance in my life, I sadly lost my father after a long battle with cancer, when lying on his death bed, I knew that this was one of is favourite songs. So I placed my phone by his head and played this song, he turned his head looked at me held my hand and squeezed my hand tightly. He died not long after. We played this song at his funeral, with photos of him from being a young boy until the night before he passed away. The words are so simple yet poignant and beautiful. It is on you tube “Allan J Brown 2024” thank you Richard for such a wonderful song so beautifully sung.

A quirky lyricist with a wonderful crooner voice who does rock. He really rocks. I love his song "Seek it." No one else would use the line "like an unexploded hand grenade." In a love song. Just brilliant while remaining somehow every day. 70s kitchen sink drama in music.

I HAVE A DREAM! I have a realistic dream. I would like to be one day on a stage in the middle of a very huge stadium, with in front of me an enormous philarmonic orchestra and Richard Hawley with his band. I want to be the musical conductor of this orchestra an the band. And i want to conduct this WONDERFUL song. But before this will happen I have to admit two things: I`m not a conductor and I think, that I will die after the end oft this song...... Thank you Richar Hawley!
