Richard Hawley for me is definitely one of those artists that I can’t believe isn’t huge, but then I also prefer to have him to myself, then when you meet other people who love him, it is like meeting someone from an exclusive club you are both in. Also, you can pick and choose who to introduce to Richard based on who you think will appreciate him and deserves it.

Hawley is a modern day genius with an old time soul. His back catalogue is an absolute treasure trove. That album is melancholic beauty typified. His albums Coles Corners and Lady's Bridge preceding Truelove's gutter have more variety to them, but I do think this one is his best, so much depth. I am glad you have found him!

Local boy made very good.Was talking to him yesterday by the Women of Steel sculpture in town and congratuled him on the wild success of Standing At The Skies

Beautiful reaction guys, thank you. I’m glad you both enjoyed it. Unfortunately I don’t have any further information on how things turned out for Richard’s friend. But personally, if one of my friends cared enough about me to write such a beautiful song. It would definitely have a positive impact on me. So I hope that was the case here as well. ❤

he has *t o n s* of superb tracks... try "Coles Corner" /watch?v=MqKbgg2jDGs also "something is" (!!) /watch?v=XdesQc_Mz2Y but I would also recommend a heck of a lot more!!!
