@@Herring1967 Richard, I know this is 6 years old, but your best interviews are ones where the person you're interviewing relaxes, is not in character the whole time and there is no competition with you with trying to be the funniest. Then we find out the real them. Ayoade always strikes me as someone who's always in character and it's kind of wearing.

He's wrong about the Daleks. They haven't used any of the original series operators in the post-2005 show at all. And Revelation of the Daleks was 1985, not 87. Christ, I need a life.

As much as I love Richard, this doesn’t stand comparison with Stew’s interview with Alexei from the same year. I dunno, maybe they just didn’t click. The deployment of emergency questions which largely failed is telling.
