It's great to see James Acaster just being a person. He is normally always on in a funny but defensive way
@sophieshannon47466 жыл бұрын
This is brilliant. I worked at the fringe in 2012 and met you, you were one of the only nice and friendly comedians I met :) but I do remember you saying your first fringe was 1991 and being outraged that I was born in 1991 ...

That’s so true about Mock The Week! There are comedians I love and some I hate- it’s great to have something for everybody. It’s so cool hearing James talk about it- I love him on that show
@imogensears93264 жыл бұрын
WHY DID THIS NOT END UP ON CLASSIC SCRAPES - even the more detailed detailing story! This just proves his stories aren’t exaggerated because his real life is way more chaotic!

I would much rather spend a day record shopping with James than sweater shopping. Than we could get some great food and end it with a smashing dessert. I don't know it would be a splendid day.

The more I learn about Acasters music taste the more I respect the man Napalm Death and Mr Bungle 💯💯

when did he mention Mr Bungle? i must've missed that moment... when he was talking about doing 'weird time signatures and odd stops' in his band I wondered if he is a Cardiacs fan though..

Have you listened to his Perfect Sounds podcast? His love of music is so infectious. Even the most obscure and "difficult" music, he really finds the magic.

Most other comedians would have sat back and let Richard run away with that walking penis joke, but this dude is so quick on his feet. Hilarious.

I'm I the only person old enough to notice that James is the spitting image of Steve Davis, the snooker player who was voted, at one time, the most boring person in sport (or something - I might have made that up but Spitting Image did a thing on him)??

your comment made me look him up and ABSOLUTELY

James looks almost exactly like Will Merrick, the actor who played Steve Davis in The Rack Pack. They should play brothers in a sitcom about the Kettering Board Games Club.
@freckled_linny3 жыл бұрын
Absolutely! The Resemblance between James & young Steve Davis is uncanny!!! James only has to refer to recent photos of Steve for a perfect reference of what he will look like in the later years of his life! Lol Spot on comparison!
