It provides a medium through which the music of a composer floats up into the air at the hands of another master, and from the hands of the craftsmen that created it. It is the hallmark of a an upstanding people and a great nation.

When I started watching this I almost clicked away because of the "camera work." But briefly listening to Mr. Hills play, I noted a distinct difference in his musicianship. The music is a little different from what we usually hear, and the registrations he used were to die for! Thank heaven it is being worked on and getting renewed. A great Compton played by an artist in an excellent acoustic environment. Thank you!

Oui Richard Hills est l'une des grande référence aujourd'hui dans le domaine de l'orgue de cinéma ! Et les orgues Compton, ce sont des orgues très raffiné et celui-ci en particulier est très apprécié des organistes de cinéma. Certainement un des plus beaux en Angleterre !

Je suis devenu fan d’orgue grâce à celui-ci et richard hill. C’est très profond et les textures sont hyper authentiques. Magnifique. Si seulement c’était possible de voir ça en France

Richard is the top. From Sambalina, through Tiger Rag, he's the only organist I can listen to for hours. Perfection is not of this world, they say, well, it's bloody damn close!

Why is the console in such awful condition, missing its toe pistons, ruined external finish, and up in a gallery with an old reed-organ, some gas heaters and other junk? There must be an interesting story behind this. Great sound, and great playing. Next time, though, please keep the camera still for most of the time, and move *slowly*! Thanks for the upload.
