I've been reading the newly-released "Funny Boy" - the official biography of Richard Hunt, so when I searched for videos featuring him on KZbin, this was a nice surprise.

He seemed like such a sweet, down to earth type of guy, the kind of friend who would make you laugh and everything. ^^ Beaker (HIS Beaker ORIGINALLY), is actually my most favorite out of all the Muppets, he's so adorable, sweet and shy, and discovering Richard awhile back made me love the character even more than I already do. ^^ It's always Jim Henson this and Jim Henson that, while I love his work and everything, I kinda wish the other Muppeteers (like Richard), were more recognized by fans, they don't really get the recognition they deserve, so seeing stuff like this makes me happy there are more people out there who appreciate people (like Richard) behind these characters. ^^ It's too bad he's not here anymore, just think, if he was, he'd probably still be voicing both Beaker and Scooter still today. Like everyone says how there's NO replacing Jim as Kermit, it was the same for Richard: Richard didn't just play Beaker, he WAS Beaker to me and ALWAYS will be. ^^ (No offense to Steve Whitmore and the others, but they are all close 2nds after him as the role, there's NO replacing Richard as he was the OG! ^^ (That goes for him as Scooter, of course, as well. XD )

Happy Birthday Richard Hunt (1952-1992). This was 2 months before Jim Henson died and 2 years before he died next at age 40 so sad. He was very good at Voicing puppeteering.

@@corduerorose9747 just got done reading his book. It was great but it was sad towards the end the sicker he got. And how he spent his last Christmas Eve exactly 2 weeks before he died in bed with Brian meehl reading him the night before Christmas
