I love this performance and yes to the JC love. I never really listened to Nsync besides their big hits but I always loved his voice and dance ability. This song was my favorite of theirs but Richards solo version just blew theirs out of the water for me. While I like JT's vocal ability I always prefered JC's tone and Richard is the perfect balance and his version is more stripped down and theirs something so raw about it maybe just cause he wrote it so when I found this live performance is really was the best of both worlds for me. I also like the version w/ Richard and Nsync but I prefer just Richard and JC.

I don't understand how you don't know Richard Marx if you are an NSYNC fan since he wrote this song and others for them. He is one of the most successful and prolific singer and song writers of the last forty years. You would probably be shocked how many of your favorite songs sung by your favorite artist are also written by him. This clip is from a concert he put on where he not only sang many of his greatest hits but those he wrote for others and it was so cool that he got JC to appear. It's a fantastic concert you should watch. His voice is naturally raspy and very rock sounding.

These two sound fantastic together. I have seen Richard several times in the past year and is one of my favorite concerts of all time. First was intimate Napa, CA venue with his guitars and a piano - epic. Of late in Sacramento and Santa Barbara with Kenny Loggins final tour and truly rock mode. Richard can sing a great ballad, but listen to his rock music. You are likely to become a huge fan.
