Oh, he's never serious when you see him live. He's hilarious. Always cracking jokes to make everyone laugh. The time a few yrs ago he flew into Halifax, Nova Scotia, in a wicked storm, he was almost late but made it, I believe he said he was wearing someone else shirt? haha. What a wicked concert. I bought his handwritten lyrics to "Right Here Waiting" that night. My greatest prize possession.

One if the BEST/PROUDEST moments if my life was being born in 1986, and introducing my parents to the name of so many songs they loved, and telling my own friends in high school that Marx wrote ‘this I promise you’… Recorded by Nsync- who i adored, but that sing was NOTHING without Marx… I saw a live TV performance with Marx and absolutely DIED INSIDE. Like too many songs he’s written, and ANY SONG he sings.

That must be his wife from last 4 years. Whatever it is ,Richard from his songs , as I know , is a very shy and sensitive guy. Obviously he couldn't have lived a double life , let's say like a Tiger woods. Most or all artists live in their minds and are stoic in their approach. For someone like Richard , it comes naturally to be calm, still and be explosive when it comes to performance on stage . He hates intrusions in his songs and I respect that. He is once in a lifetime gem like Phil Collins ,M.J . More power to Richard and his new found love .❤️

Richard Marx is just an awesome all round kind of musician with a wonderful voice and songs that are enjoyable to listen to. Been listening to him since the 80's even though I was and still am a Metal head. Well, Classic rock and other styles as I've gotten older. Good to see Richard still putting out great music. He's playing my beautiful dream Gretsch White Falcon guitar. Very nice.
