They did keep them. They were removed from the casing and replaced with a new lens that was flat. The best of both worlds. But I do like the flat look.

I get it it's not a SS but $2500 not running solid body that's a steel, you pay that price for a rust bucket now a days

Times chang.. 65 was built some 12 years ago or more.. today, 25 hundred buys you a rust bucket.. going price for 65s is 35k and up in this condition.. like mine.. try 80k. There's not one car meet I attend someone want to buy it. I hit prospective buyers with 80k.. they're ready to fork it out.. I'm not ready to sell until the end of summer

I have an Ermine White '65 Impala that's about 90% done. Bagged and slammed, with a 450 HP small block. I like what they've done here EXCEPT for the tail lights. The originals are a key styling element and, in my eyes, they ruined the whole look of the rear of the car. A poor decision by Aaron.
