We live in Dallas and my son (who was 13 a couple years ago) is a big fan of the show. We went by his shop to hit the gift shop one weekend. Guess who just happened to pull up? I didnt want to bother him so I told my son to just stand in front of me and I would grab a pic of RR in the background (we were far back and didnt want to bug him). As I started just taking pics, I saw someone walking into focus. Sure enough, Richard was super cool and let me grab a couple pics with my son. Thought that super nice of him, and my son was pretty dang pumped. Thanks Richard, I felt like a cool dad at that moment!

Now richard is the star of his show so he doesn't work on the cars and the one that do should be very happy that they may work for him, because that will give them a good start whenever they start for themselves, because they can say that they worked for Richard, and then customers wil roll in!

Congratulations on your life Richard . I have been a big fan of yours since I started watching " Fast N` Loud " , I`m a bit of a petrolhead so the cars and trucks were a real head turner for a start , you being a Texan and the whole set up being in Dallas , ticked off more bells , your entrepreneurial magic was another plus and last but certainly not least , was your hard bargaining but that soft heart and human beliefs made you a very likeable bloke . It`s a pity the `F n` Loud ` segment is coming to an end , but you being the bloke you are , you certainly won`t be lax for any amount of time , I`m sure you`ve got more in the works lined up . I live in New Zealand and I think you have quite a large following down this way , we`re all crazy over American Hot Rods and the like , so good luck in your future and cheers to your family .

Hey Richard Rawlings I used to work for my friends father. He owned Eurosports Car sales and only dealt in lambo's, ferrari's, porsche, Delorean's ect... Anyways... He had a Countach off the movie Cannonball Run...Unlike yours it had the front spoiler tho.... My job was to take the High end Exotics to the detail shop so I got to drive everything that came in that was high end....Do realize I was fresh out of high school and had a girlfriend who was asst manager at McDonalds..so..showed up at drive thru window..Couldnt order thru the manual roll down window as it only goes down like 4".... opened the countch door to order a coke...everyone in micky d's came out to look including all employee's EXCEPT my girl friend.... Ok so I went to detail shop and they said it wud be a hr....Soooo....off I went! now Ive driven the mini F1's that required a racing license BUT the Countach handled like them, almost impossible to slide out and took curves unlike any car of that time! Everything was going great! UNTIL I picked up a nail in front tire....removed front spoiler to access the hood...no spare tire...called tow trucks but none could tow it...eventually i got a flat bed tow truck with low ramps to take it back..thought he wud fire me but drove it another 5 times Here is the exact one I drove kzbin.info/www/bejne/m6ekZJKEi5yWhq8
