I decided to publish my daily vlogs as a standalone video rather than part of Sunday Chat as it was making the show very long. I hope you enjoy it and thank you for watching!
This week we took a walk around Kew Gardens specifically to see the Marc Quinn Light Into Life exhibition which i believe runs until September.

Thank you for taking me to the beautiful garden. Due to illness I don't often get further than my own garden and I really enjoy your walk. I could smell the roses.😘

Thank you Richard for the beautiful video of the gardens. What a treat! The sculptures did look like liquid metal and at times invisible.

I'm not normally a lover of abstract art but that chrome sculpture in the rose garden (liquid metal), was beautiful. So interesting. Thank you for sharing Kew with us Richard.

What a changeable week you have had and the Kew Gardens footage was incredible. The artwork was unusual but I loved the piece which looked as if it wasn’t there. What an amazing artist. See you both tomorrow. Bye for now.

I am a Kew member too, it is so serene first thing in the morning before all the tourist coaches arrive and the childminders turn up with the brats ! I always find something different hidden away somewhere in the gardens. Great vlog. Take care X

Thank you for taking us along to the garden and to see the wildlife and sculptures. I wish I had a garden around by me that was as lovely as that one. Absolutely stunning! Sorry you had a tough start to your week. Communication is very important within a company and it seems someone dropped the ball. Hope next week goes better for you, Richard.

Those spiky sculptures wouldn't look out of place on Midsomer Murders; although there would be an impaled body. Maybe a small fold up table would make working on the couch easier? At least your laptop and tea would have a place and your could pretend it was an office. :) Laters, Lad. ~ Jon in rural BC, Canada

Thanks for the wonderful Kew shades, shapes and colours! BTW I heard you say "I will be sat on the sofa" and wonder if this phrasing is regional in the UK?
@RichardandPaul
@RichardandPaul 25 күн бұрын
I've never thought about it being a regional phrase....I guess some might use the word settee rather than sofa...

Hello Richard, Sounds like a short and long week wrapped up all together for you this week. Kew gardens is fully waking up this time of year... beautiful. The sculptures we're amazing. Looked like you were inside or apart of it other dimensional. I know if you played with some still shots you could make some great pictures using those. The piano music with the swans was very moving and soothing i played it a few times after watching your full week of vlogs with my eyes closed and can't explain how it touched me it made me want to cry. What is that piece called? I would like to look for it to listen to when i need to destress Thanks so very much Richard. Much Love from across the Pond 💞

We live under the flight path of a domestic airport and we've come to recognise the sounds of the 'regulars', so every time we hear a new plane we immediately look on Flight Radar and it identifies the aircraft and shows the flight path in real time. There's one small plane that we think belongs to a flight instructor. It sometimes sounds as though it's revving, which is always unnerving. The ones I really hate are the air force Hercules. They are enormous and extremely loud and, even though we don't have a military air base here, they like to do practise touch downs and take offs at our small airport so we have the monster going low over our house several times an hour.

That was fantastic 🤗are those made of metal or glass? Walks like that are good for your sole 😇🌸xx

I don't know what they're actually constructed from but the finish makes them look like highly polished metal....not glass.
