***** It's not about the age, because a lot of Elder men look really nice, i mean... Mr Sammel has that kind of face that we are used to see in evil characters xD i mean he has that kind of "agressive" look... his nose, his jaw and maybe the way he looks, but i find him so atractive for some reason... And btw, i wouldnt worry for liking elder guys if they are this gorgeous :D

Watch Richard in a French series called "un french village" on HULU. The subtitles are in English...he manages to make you like and see the humanity in a bad character..Extraordinary acting by him in this series sort of the way Bryan Cranston make you like Walt in Breaking Bad.

I think a lot of the hate directed towards his character in GoT is because of that one big thing he is responsible for, the actor however, and the performance Bradley gives as Walder Frey is masterful.

From a logistic stand point, having a Strigoi who is supposed to masquerade as a human have a middle finger that is half a finger longer than his other fingers would not work as well as a spy. From the show's perspective it also would reduce the time and cost needed to make up the actor with the finger.
