I played xylophone on this piece for my high school concert band, took a while to get the hand of but now I love the part, just a great piece

All those syncopations! So tricky, yet those are what made this piece magical.

“Magical” is one way to describe it. Look at French horn parts for a few minutes. That is NOT what I’d call magical. But for the combined band, I agree. Very beautiful piece.

we're playing this at our 8th grade band and it sounds great!! i'm a clarinetist and i love hearing the solos (unfortunately i don't get to play the solo for the clarinet). the only problems that we face are that we only have three trumpets, an overpowered baritone sax player, the french horns and the bassoons are too soft, and we're missing a suspended cymbal part at 0:58 D: i still really like the song though, it's catchy and it has a nice beat B)

+Becki Z. (Zuko) I'm still mad that he held the auditions for highbridge excursions when I wasn't here. And he's doing the flute solos as solis... :(

I'm playing this at my school. I'm a freshman in high school. It's so fun! I play Tenor Saxophone and I love the solos at 1:10 and 1:33. I play them and they're so much fun. And FayolaCrayola15, I can listen to the low brass gliss all day, too! It's definitely one of my favorite pieces.

Yooo as a second year french hornist that looks like it’ll be so much fun to play (I have the music in front of me lol) but also the tempo is 😰😰 Time signature legit changes almost every measure and someone’s gonna get a taste of my fists for it. (I’m kidding. The time signature changes aren’t nearly as bad as playing marches… look up French horn parts in marches. It’s so stupid.)

Don't get me wrong, I love this piece, but I don't really think the title fits. :/

Same. When I first saw this I honestly thought it would be some Indian Bollywood or some type of jungle themed song

So real. This title would be more fitting: “Song That Nobody Should Dance to Because the Horns Have a Glissando at Measure 116 and Horns Shouldn’t be Able to do a Gliss but OHHHH NO, They NEEDED the Horns to do That Bullsh!t”

Yes, very fun and relaxing song to play. Usually in most other songs at my school, the baritones are the ones people need to hear. 😅
