I was hoping he would be alive this year so I can see him at the Over and Out Tour, which I will be at on Friday in LA…but sad he passed away before the tour. All band members deserve their flowers. They were ahead of the times. Thank you for always sharing ELO content

With Richard Tandy and other former members of ELO gone , it just another part of my growing up that is gone. I will listen to my old ELO Vinyl albums until the day I die! ELO FAN FOR LIFE!

I met Richard and his lovely wife eight years ago in London while they were shopping and they both were so delightful and charming. That week was a odd one, saw Jeff Lynne's ELO, bumped into Richard Tandy and on my return home saw a blue car with an ELO number plate parked in Sainsbury's, kismet! :)

Beautiful simplicity = genius. No doubt Jeff's songs are genius, but other members of ELO were there and contributed. What would these songs have been without the input from the others, particularly Sir Lou Clark and Richard Tandy ? Just listen to the Out of the Blue instrumental montage which is also posted on this channel. Utterly amazing. These geniuses deserve more credit than they were given. "All songs written by Jeff Lynne" - us fans know this isn't the case. God bless Sir Lou and Richard. You are missed but your genuis will live forever.

Thank you so much Louis. Your dad and Richard were a huge part of ELO's DNA. I will remember them all my life playing ELO's music everyday. I can tell you are such a kind man just like your dad. ❤💯🎹🎶👍

He was such an incredible Pianist and Keyboard player. I absolutely adore his style of playing, eg those Arpeggios and Chromatic riffs up and down the keys. I also love the Wurlitzer electric piano sound and the effects he would use to create new sounds eg Phaser pedals. Thanks for demonstrating this instrument he used. A beautiful warm tone, i also love the Fender Rhodes sound. 🎹😉👍👍

Really lovely tribute Louis. Shangrila came up on my playlist yesterday and the outro had me in tears.... again, quite likely played on that very instrument. What a beautiful touch Richard had. He and your dad made music that will still be played and loved for ages to come.

Hi Louis, that's a lovely tribute to Richard. I was a huge fan of Raymond Froggatt and your Dad's wonderful arrangements when he was with Froggie such as Something's Going On, We're All Going To the Seaside, Anything You Want To and many more including the beautiful Lonely Old World. I don't know if you've ever noticed the end of Jeff's Concerto For A Rainy Day must have been inspired by the very last bit in Froggies Lonely Old World where the cellos appear in your Dad's fantastic arrangement. I still have that album along with many others by Ray and ELO. Such beautiful arrangements. R.I.P. Richard

Fantastic tribute! Your dad's arrangements were as much a part of the ELO sound as, say, Jeff's vocals or Richard's keyboards. Legendary band!
