RICHARD WIDMARK Is a Dude! "Hunting Bob Lee" • Western Tale from SUSPENSE Classic Radio

A group of really mean guys make fun of Richard Widmark's hat because of its colorful plumes calling him a "dude" (1860's talk for *gay) So he gets into a fight with these brutes . . . During the fight, Widmark's horse stomps on a guy's head killing him (Bob Lee gets blamed for the death) The next thing you know the whole gets involved . . . thus the Hunt for Bob Lee begins, and things get nasty. This one's based on a true story. The sound quality? it's pretty good.
*Not that there's anything wrong with that. But remember! It's the 1800's and well . . . you know.

Wonder what the underlying storyline really is? 50’s writers had to be Subliminal to keep from being blacklisted. The story really reflects those times.
