These videos sometimes jog a memory. In 1995 me and my wife we're staying in a fisherman's cottage in Whitby. To get to the cottage you had to negotiate long steep steps easily a good 70 feet to the top. After a night out my wife went to bed I was watching the TV about midnight and then came this extremely loud banging on the door I was very annoyed I flew to the door to reminstrate with whoever it was... Nothing nobody there and no way I wouldn't have seen pranksters running down the steps! I'm just glad i didn't encounter a spectre of a dripping seaman standing there!!!

Fascinating stuff Richard.As always very interesting; your relaxed, friendly approach makes the videos a pleasure to watch. I agree with you, that many ghost/poltergeists are often letting the living know they are still around. Some may be asking for help to move on, or for someone just to know and understand why they linger.
